Vocational Adult Education Sedu (Finnish name: Sedu Aikuiskoulutus)

HEAT ENTREPRENEURSHIP - TRAINING

Practical heat entrepreneurship training is designed for foreigners who intend to become heat entrepreneurs, those already active as entrepreneurs in the sector and for organisations which promote the use of bioenergy. The training includes theory, practice and study trips.

The training lasts for five full days. Shorter and longer training events are also available by agreement. The group size is approximately 10 participants.

During the week participants will become acquainted with the growth and harvest of energy trees. Participants will get to know different fuels, heat entrepreneurship, heat plant design and maintenance as well as storage. The course also covers Finnish contract models and forms. The material is in English.

The training package includes Seinäjoki-Tuomarniemi-Seinäjoki transportation, accommodation in the school’s dormitory and breakfast, lunch and dinner. On arrangement it is also possible to stay in a local hotel. There are many different leisure activities locally.

Week long (5 days) heat entrepreneurship training – more exact daily content will be ready at the turn of the year. Heat entrepreneurship training in English will start in the spring of 2016.
